ACTING ACTIVITY HOLIDAYS FOR ADULTS
Jon studied Drama at the University of Wales in Swansea and has directed numerous musicals and plays. His acting credits are diverse and extensive and he has acted in Greece, Australia and the UK in theatres, stately homes, pub gardens and The Globe Theatre (not the original!). Jon is an experienced educator and workshop leader. He is a member of Equity and has more recently been involved in corporate team building events using drama as a stimulus.
He is keen to share his experience and expertise with you in a fun, enjoyable and productive way.
Since 2004 we have regularly visited our home in a small village in the Balkan mountain area of Bulgaria. This is a beautiful, unspoilt and, as yet, largely undiscovered part of Eastern Europe. Team leader Jon has been professionally involved in drama for more than forty years; as an actor, director and educator.
Our aim for the holiday is to combine a special location with our expertise to provide an enjoyable experience for our clients and benefit the local community.
So often, acting holiday courses are offered only to children, teenagers or those wishing to gain entry to Drama Schools.
We feel this opportunity should be extended to adults who wish to experience the thrill of an outdoor production and develop their skills as an actor whilst having an enjoyable holiday. Rehearsals and performance take place in beautiful surroundings with stunning views. You will be able to experience a different culture, make new friends as part of a small group of like-minded individuals and stretch yourself performing for an international audience
